Ok thank you,.there are curtain plants that I wouldn't sell as cheap as my normal asteriases for example since astros are so variable, you get wierd mutants popping up occasionally. It really depends on the individual plant I think. Thanks again

I find clear pots are also good for checking if the soil is still wet.

They have worked well for me, algae has never been an issue. Even if it was, I really wouldn't mind.

Yes pumice, volcanic rock, clay and calcium carbonate. I just prefer the plastic pots, they are cheap, the perfect size and can be re used, it's also easier to spot root pests that way.
