I just wish I could get seeds from my plants. Cactus no problem. Mesembs .... ish. Gasteria and Haworthia .... no hope

To bin or not to bin, that is the question.

20240505_113625.jpg 20240505_113647.jpg This Parodia magnifica has performed well over the past few years but I noticed that it wasn't showing signs of growth. It came away from the pot with little in the way of roots, and on cleaning the remaining roots came away. It sounds hollow. Is it .... Bin?...

That's an interesting looking plant .... made more interesting by the sympathetic grit topping which looks almost like camouflage.

This is in the conservatory. One of the few permitted spikeys. HRH has suggested a few of the purchases made yesterday (non spikeys) might look nice in an ornamental bowl .... in the conservatory.
