Yes a promising looking plant.
And I'm looking forward to seeing the next .... even if I have to wait a while. Thanks for sharing.

Re: John Innes compost
El48tel I understood peat was supposed to be banned this year, but looking on the web they now seem to have backtracked? Many firms were starting to advertise JI composts as peat free, but it seems the gardeners not unnaturally still prefer peat? Great its still available since in many cases the mi...

I have a suspicion it may be the software which folk use ... camera ... cellphone .... post-process .... etc.
I have tried downsize on a previous part downsized image to find the forum does not accept it .... but an image fully downsized in one go .... was ok.

However, I picked up a couple of those plants last year (armatum and eytianum), which has got me a bit more interested. I’ve now got 10 or so, many of wh...

Re: Todays photo
I can't disagree either. Todays: H picta hybrid X pictas Sorry no picture today. I have reduced it 4 times down to 70kb That's a pity. It's the highlight of my morning to see what you have to show us. With regards to the image "shrinking", the situation is not good. I use the downsize rou...

Re: Gymno - best value for beginners?
Thank you folks. That's interesting Terry, and of course makes sense - touches of red would surely make the flowers more attractive to pollinators than the mid grey my eyes see (though I have to confess I rather like the grey!). Jury is still out on the air traffic control marking theory though acc...
