I received mine two days ago Sandi.
I'm not ordering seeds this year. I have sown too many in the last three years, so I had to ban myself this year to be able to look after better the seedlings I already have.
I will be repotting in my freetime all spring

Very nice plant and offset, Marlon.
Does it normally offset above the soil?

Re: SOMETHING ABROAD
More from Chios, the "pot" might not be an expensive one , but I think it looks very nice with the plant.
This one is not cultivated, but a Chios native. It grows between rocks and in very very old walls. Rosularia maybe?

Hi Mawa,
See my recent post about Schzobasis intricata

I came to the conclusion that it is just slow, and it is not possible to make it grow quicker.

Re: B. volubilis and S. intricata
I came across S. intricata seed listed in Mesagarden when having a general look. There it says "winter grower". I guess this is my answer, all my attempts to make it grow by soaking it all summer did not work because it likes to grow in winter! I'll give it some water now and see what'll h...

I could send you some of my seedlings if my country was in the EU.
It seems like we'll remain a "candidate country" forever

Re: Monilaria obconica
Thats unlucky Michael. Did you try it from different sources? Did you sow from MSG 2010 seed? I just checked and I had 8 germinate out of 12 seeds of M. obconica, 6 of them survived their first summer (sown october 2010), I did nothing special. Mesemb seed generally germinates without problem for me...
