Matucana aureiflora had begun to flower. More to come I hope.

Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs. Recently discovered gorgeous Gasteria.

This is in the conservatory. One of the few permitted spikeys. HRH has suggested a few of the purchases made yesterday (non spikeys) might look nice in an ornamental bowl .... in the conservatory.
