Our greenhouse was here when we moved in. It's an 8' x 8' Edenlite (an old brand now apparently only sold in New Zealand!)
Over the last couple if years it had sheared some bolts through age and ivy growing in, lost roof panels and was a real mess.
In the autumn I completely took it down, cleaned the frame, redid the base (raising it by 8” and dropping the floor by 4") laid slabs (badly) for the floor and replaced the roof glass with 4mm polycarbonate.
The staging though was ok but only 2' wide and we wanted it to be a multi-functional growing space for raising plants and growing tomatoes etc. so I've been shopping at Two West's!
This was it before,
After adding two lots of integral staging and shelving to the right side, 4 modular shelves down the left side and a shelf on the end wall too.
I also added two bars to the left side to hang plants from and two wires to the right to tie my tomatoes to in the summer.
I'm really pleased and with all the shelving and bars a fair few of my C and S will find their way in there over the summer too!
Here it is now,
I still need to clean the glass...

It's looking good and well worth the effort involved. Good for another dozen years.

Re: Upgrading my greenhouse
Thanks Ellie. Still got a few tomatoes ripening in there but in a couple of weeks they'll be out to make room for overwintering more plants.
