Shelter is still up, but definitely down next weekend.

Agave parryi truncata and Agave Blue Brian 💙 looking good underneath the shelter.

And the potted Agave flexispina , cobwebbed whilst in the greenhouse, now getting some air to acclimatise itself again.

I'll sneak in another Mangave, I really like this one because of its ovatifolia genes, Aztec King 🤴

I finally got around to starting a few raised beds recently, allowing me to liberate some plants into the ground. With the nice weather this weekend I’ve been able to get the first plant in, my biggest Agave ovatifolia. It was left in the same pot for getting on for 8 years so it probably won’t know what to do with itself now it has a free root run!

Plants still to go in include an Agave parryi, filifera, bracteosa, Nolina nelsonii, Leucostele terscheckii and maybe a Denmoza rhodacantha and Soehrensia formosa if there’s space. Not much left to do then…
