Absolutely marvellous! For my part I don´t dare to water with a hose.I have maybe half the amount of plants that you have(envious)but it takes about four hours to water them all individually... You say that you don´t heat the greenhouse normally Peter, what is your normal temperature during winter?
Thord. All kinds of smallgrowing cacti.
Re: Peter's Tour
Hi Thord, the greenhouse works at 3 - 5°C. The heaters only rarely operate, just when it's extremely cold outside. As mentioned previously, the only bit of bubble insulation only covers about half of the roof and that is only there to help prevent the Copiapoas from scorching.
I've always used a hose to water (and feed using a hose end feeder). I don't have the patience to water individually and cannot imagine me going from pot to pot and continually having to fill a watering can. I think that life's to short to do that every week or two in the season and my plants seem to grow OK.

Re: Peter's Tour
My greenhouse has turned into a whitehouse. The snow is now some 300mm thick and the temperature in my garden here in North Shropshire was minus 19°C during Tuesday night.

Re: Peter's Tour
Not many plants then Peter!!!!
No wonder the offspring ran off and poor old Mrs. T needed her booze.
A greenhouse that size with all those plants and not an obesa in sight, the world is going mad! Where will it all end.

Happy carrier of Forby Disorder - an obsession with Euphorbia obesa.
