Aloe problem?

Post by Ernie »

Any ideas what's going on with this Aloe species. Its producing flowers and offsets but the main leaves are curled over and show no sings of opening up. Its been like this for well over 9 months. Its been watered correctly and in a gritty compost. Its the only Aloe I have that is growing? like this.

Looks more like a hybrid than a species.

Maybe that’s how it grows. Looks ok and leaves not dying at the tips.

Thanks. I know its a hybrid should have put that instead of species. Got it from a local market stall for a £1. The compost is clean and the roots are good so maybe you are correct, that's how it grows.
