Looks like Dioscorea elephantipes male flowers, but I was with Tina in thinking it's a different species. I didn't think the leaves looked right for elephantipes.

First time flowerer, and first Fenestraria of this winter - there was just enough sun this morning for this to come out, before the afternoon deluge.

What it lacks in looks it makes up for in length. This haworthia lomifolia flower spike just keeps growing and has now outgrown the window it sits on which is 1.2m tall. It's in a 18cm (7") wide pot for scale. I guess insects are scarce where it grows so it needs some height to advertise? Or maybe it's fishing for fairies to use the washboard...

You can take the boy out of the greenhouse, but you can't take the greenhouse out of the boy!

The leaves look a bit odd because of the angle of the photo. I'm sure it is elephantipes - as pictured in another thread if you search. On the other hand, I have seen quite a few "elephantipes" for sale that I think are another species.
