I hope you don't mind Allan, I think this would be H. "Kotohime'. I think I have that one, and it certainly is quite "chunky" at a little older age, but I'll need to check and confirm this next week.

That makes perfect sense, thanks. Maybe I'll just use the mix they are in now, basically a 1:1:1 of larger moler clay, grit and an ericaceous compost.

What's in that mesh pot, Ralph? I'll need to repot some of my epiphytes soon and am thinking about airy hanging baskets, perhaps with dry Sphagnum moss and some bark for larger particles.
