1% is suitable for use as a mouthwash so 3% isn't going to do you much harm if you splash it on (though I wouldn't want to breathe a mist of it). I can't say whether it's any good at killing mealies. Interesting, thank you both. I have already cut out the feeding for the time being and will leave it out altogether now. These generally grow quite cleanly, although this one is a little taller than ideal. It does look like something has had a go at eating it, then it has scarred over.
