I have a few x Semponium and they do appear to be expressing more Aeonium genes than Sempervivum ones in how they grow and their hardiness. If anything I've found them more sensitive over winter than most Aeonium. It's almost like they want more water than Aeonium and to grow more at cooler temperat...

Isn't it a mangave ? Depending on which paper you follow it might be an Agave as Manfreda was lumped under Agave in one study. I prefer the idea that splits Manfreda, Polianthes back out and created Echinoagave, Paleoagave and Paraagave. Here's some 'interesting' suggestions for the new hybrid gene...

Looks good. What size is the plant? I have lost plants about a foot across when plants closer to two foot have survived fine. It might be worth fitting a rain cover over the winter to keep the wet off.
