Cycas revoluta germination

The first thing the seed does is to put down a root measuring 5 inches. The root has pushed itself out of the propagator which is way too shallow.

The best way to receive seeds

Received today in the post from within the UK, fresh seeds of Brunsvigia namaquana which only have a short period of viabilty. And I had been researching the conditions for germination.... job done for me, and now I'll never know.

Last year Royal Mail lost a package of mine containing 3 medium sized Lophophora williamsii plants. I claimed for the loss clearly stating what the plants were and I was fully compensated.
